    On February 27, the Mining College of MISiS has organized the Russian Energy Cases Championship in which more than 1000 students from 30 top technological universities in 25 regions of Russia and Kazakhstan will compete in real problem solutions for the fuel and energy companies and defend their proposal in front of industry professionals.

    November 20-22, International Friendship Club together with other student associations organized the International Congress of Student Associations “Networking Student Interactions" at MISiS, which was attended by representatives from more than 15 universities including MEPI, RGUNG, MGRS, RSSU , RG, MSU, MIEMP, VSB (Technical university of Ostrava), TU-Darmstadt, as well as youth organizations such as the Association of Armenian Youth of Moscow AAMM, RASNO, and representatives of international partner universities in Germany and the Czech Republic.

    Scientists Alexey Afanasiev, Andrey Ignatov, Olga Krivolapova, and Elena Tarasova were recognized with an award by the Russian Government in the fields of science and technology for young scientists for the development of metallurgical technology of fibrous magnetic materials for innovative fabrics that provide comprehensive protection of man against external influences.

The new partnership aims to help MISiS manage the research lifecycle more efficiently and increase the University’s global research impact, thus boosting its international competitive advantage.
